The Matfen Hall Wedding of Deborah & Stephen by Camera A Wedding Photography

Deborah & Stephen were married on 5th December 2014 at the Holy Trinity Church in Matfen Village and had a fantastic reception at Matfen Hall. When we arrived at Matfen Hall on the morning of the wedding, we were thrilled to see it bathed in glorious winter sunshine and a blue sky to rival any Summer’s day! The Christmas tree looked fantastic too! It is a venue that really lends itself to cosy, winter weddings.

Deborah looked absolutely beautiful in her fur-trimmed dress from Wedding Essentials of Newcastle. Stunning hair styled by Hair Zest of Sunderland and a beautiful bouquet, in shades of cream and purple from Charlotte’s House of Flowers, completed her look. A lovely gift of jewellery from her husband to be, brought a tear to Deborah’s eyes as her bridesmaids looked on admiringly.

The service was held at Holy Trinity Church, Matfen Village, just a stones throw from Matfen Hall itself, and the excitement built as everyone gathered in church and Stephen waited nervously for his bride. Afterwards, the newly weds walked out through clouds of confetti before making the short journey to Matfen Hall.

As soon as we arrived, we took the happy couple around the grounds as the sun was just starting to set and casting the most beautiful orange glow over the stunning surroundings! It was a perfect moment on a perfect day!

Fun and laughter followed and Deborah & Stephen were thrilled with their photographs when they came back to the studio!

  1. I just wanted to thank you again Jane for our wonderful photographs. The album is stunning and we show it proudly to everyone (I keep one of the mini albums in my handbag, just in case!!).
I’d also like to thank you for your help on the day itself with my dress and fastening the brooches you were so helpful. We had a magical day and you captured it perfectly with your camera. We loved everything!
