Stacey & Karim were married on 3rd June 2012 at Christ the King Church in Thornaby and had their reception at Wynyard Hall Hotel. Having photographed their engagement portrait a few years earlier we really felt like we had followed the happy couple’s journey to their big day, which made it even more special!
When we arrived at Stacey’s parents house before the wedding we found Stacey and her bridesmaids in high spirits and already looking glam! Stacey had made goody bags for each bridesmaids with their jewellery, a card and a photograph of the five of them together as girls. This was such a lovely touch and had everyone smiling! Stacey wore an absolutely gorgeous dress and headdress from Poppy Bridal in Darlington and the outfit was completed with a pair of Jimmy Choos! She looked stunning and radiant and made everyone gasp when she entered the room! The bridesmaids wore coral dresses from Kate Fearnleys and the finishing touch to all the outfits were the beautiful bouquets made by Stacey’s very talented Mum!
Arriving at the church we found a very nervous Karim, despite this he looked handsome, as ever, in his suit from Bakers of Middlesbrough. Going into church we were immediately struck by the beautiful stained glass window. It was so bright and colourful and made a fantastic background to the service photographs. After the service, as is quite often the case, Karim’s nerves seemed to disappear.
Stacey & Karim arrived in style at Wynyard Hall with G. W. Holmes Wedding Cars, who are always a pleasure to work with. At Wynyard Hall, Stacey & Karim’s willingness to pose and the fantastic arcitecture made for some great photographs.
The room looked stunning, as it always does, with table decoration by Posh and a fabulous cake by Kelly-Ann’s Cakes. Everyone had a wonderful time with entertainment from Stuart Collingwood and Ultimate Wedding DJ and Stacey & Karim had a fantastic honeymoon.
