Liz & Andy were married on 9th June 2012 at Snape Methodist Church and then had a  reception at Redworth Hall Hotel. We were thrilled that the weather was dry and sunny (if a little windy) after all the rain that we have had.

Arriving at Liz’s home just outside the village of Snape we were immediately impressed by the wonderful garden which we knew would make a fantastic background for the photographs. Inside the house their was lots of hustle and bustle whilst Liz had her hair styled by Lisa Metcalfe, also her bridesmaid. Lisa did a fantastic job and Liz looked stunning, finished with a crystal encrusted tiara from The Bridal Lounge, Northallerton. After Lisa had finished styling Liz’s hair everyone went upstairs to help Liz get changed into her beautiful dress, also from The Bridal Lounge and when she came down the stairs, everyone became very emotional, especially Liz’s Mum and Dad who couldn’t stop smiling! Liz’s bridesmaids wore dresses in a lovely, fresh green and were from Carlton Couture in Ripon and all the outfits were finished with gorgeous flowers by Floral Elegance in Bedale.

At the church everyone was starting to gather, chatting and enjoying the rare sunshine! Andy made his arrival with his best man on a tractor, complete with flat caps, much to the enjoyment of Andy’s nephews! Close family friends Reverends Fran & Piers Lane who were to conduct the service welcomed all the guests as they made their way into church. There followed a lovely service with heartfelt readings and a candle lighting ceremony and afterwards the happy couple left the church to a guard of honour and confetti. After being congratulated by their guests, Liz and Andy got into their vintage car from Lawson Cars in Middlesbrough, with a much needed glass of champagne, ready to make their way to Redworth Hall.

As we made our way to Redworth Hall Hotel we were disappointed as the heavens opened! Typical! Help was at hand though in the form of our trusty white umbrellas and Master of Ceremonies Michael Kellett. Michael is always great to work with and his organisational skills are second to none. He immediately produced wellies for Liz and even a waterproof mat to put under her dress. You would never know it was raining!

The Great Hall looked wonderful with decorations by Party On in Leeming Bar and cake made by Liz’s Aunty and we made great use of the amazing window to get some great shots of the happy couple.

We were thrilled to receive this beautiful letter from Liz & Andy the other day –

“We had a truly amazing wedding day and without the record of your amazing photos it would easily just become memories. From the first time we got in touch all of you have been nothing but kind, friendly and utterly professional. We are so privileged to have had such a top class, well drilled team of experts to capture our day in the way you did. Thank you so much. We are so happy together and when we look back at that day in 50 years it will be aided by your special work.”

Thank you so much Liz & Andy. It means so much to us to receive fantastic thanks and praise like this and to know that our work will give you so much happiness for years to come!
