Michelle & Graeme were married on 3rd June 2012 at St.Michael’s Church, Heighington and had their reception at The Manor House, West Auckland. It was jubilee weekend and the weather was desperately trying to spoil all the celebrations. Everybody was determined to enjoy themselves though, no matter what the weather decided to do!
We arrived at Michelle’s Mum’s house, just a stones throw away from St. Michael’s Church, to find a lot of hustle and bustle and last minute preparations being done. Everyone was a little bit nervous but enjoying themselves all the same. When Michelle’s hair and make-up was done she changed into her beautiful dress from Aphrodite, Bishop Auckland and with a headdress, also from Aphrodite, and flowers, by a family friend, to finish off her outfit, she looked absolutely stunning. The bridesmaids wore a wonderful Cadbury’s purple colour which tied in beautifully with the flowers.
At the church, Graeme was waiting anxiously, willing the weather to stay dry! Graeme, his best man and ushers all wore suits from Greenwoods and enjoyed doing the reservoir dogs style walk up the path towards the church.
The service was lovely and the happy couple grinned throughout! Afterwards all the nerves had turned to happiness, the nervy part was over, it was time for the fun to begin!! After a few photographs outside the church, including a cloud of confetti, Michelle & Graeme travelled in style with Elite Wedding Cars to their reception at The Manor House in West Auckland. We got some great shots in the grounds and also inside the hotel and Michelle & Graeme were so pleased that the weather had brightened up, even with a few rays of sunshine here and there! We photographed the room before we left which was finished with decorations made by the bride and groom themselves.
Michelle & Graeme came back to the studio a few weeks later looking very tanned after their honeymoon at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. They were really pleased with their photographs and cuddled all the way through looking at them! Awww!
