Susan Tuck & Nicholas Rickaby were married on the 4th of February 2013 at The Morritt near Barnard Castle. The Morritt is a lovely venue and we’re always excited about photographing weddings there!
We arrived at The Morritt on a typical grey and cold February day but at least it wasn’t raining! Hurray! Sue and everyone in the bridal suite were really excited about the day ahead, the wine was flowing and there was a giggly and upbeat mood! Just what you need on a wedding day to calm everyone’s nerves! Sue looked gorgeous in her beautiful dress from Poppy Bridal, complete with fur stole to keep out the chill and of course for the ultimate winter-wedding glamour! Sue’s bridesmaids wore flattering navy blue dresses, again from Poppy Bridal and the outfits were completed with beautiful bouquets of white roses from the Funky Flower Company.
Meanwhile, outside, Nick and his brothers and sisters were having a whale of a time being daft for the camera! It seemed the giggly mood had spread downstairs which was wonderful! If anyone was nervous they certainly didn’t show it.
It was time for the wedding service and there was a resounding ‘awww’ as Sue’s niece came in scattering petals before Sue and her Dad. A few fits of the giggles and some beautiful readings later and Sue & Nick were married!
After the service we photographed the happy couple around the grounds and Greta Bridge and the fantastic room which was decorated beautifully by the Funky Flower Company and with a stunning cake by Kelly Ann Cakes.
Sue & Nick collected their slideshow of images just the other day and were thrilled with their photographs. They are now enjoying their honeymoon in Jamaica and we hope they are having a wonderful time!
