Pam & George were married on the 21st of April 2013 at Wynyard Chapel and had a wonderful reception at Wynyard Hall. Wynyard Hall is one of our favourite venues to photograph. With its grand architecture and beautiful grounds, there is a photographic opportunity around every corner.
We arrived at Wynyard Hall to find a slightly nervous Pam surrounded by family and her three grandchildren excitedly bouncing on the bed! Pam looked beautiful in her dress and her outfit was completed with a gorgeous bouquet by Kathryn Hume of Forget-me-not Flowers. We always recommend Kathryn to our clients as she always creates beautiful bouquets, and really cares about what her brides want.
When we had photographed Pam and her close family, we went to find George at the wonderful pillars at the front of Wynyard Hall. Ever the joker, George was turning his hand to conducting the brass band and making everyone laugh in the process!
Before long the time had arrived for the service in, the stunning, Wynyard Chapel. Guests gathered excitedly and Pam made her way escorted by her Son, who gave her away, Daughter and three grandchildren. The service was lovely with beautiful readings by Janie Prior and Steven Robinson and the proceedings were complimented by the music of Daniel T Ackerley and choir.
After the service, all the nerves disappeared and Pam & George enjoyed being photographed around Wynyard Hall’s impressive grounds.
The room looked gorgeous with decoration again by Kathryn Hume of Forget-Me-Not Flowers and the piece de resistance was a stunning cake by Chris Burnett of Burnett 4 Cakes, another quality wedding supplier who we would not hesitate to recommend.
Everyone enjoyed the speeches and later guests were treated to an Elvis Presley cover band that George had flown over from Vegas! Pam’s granddaughter certainly enjoyed a boogie! During the band’s break there was just one more surprise for everyone, the best man and ushers doing a skeleton strip-tease! The ladies went wild for them!
Pam & George recently returned from their honeymoon, at which they had a wonderful time and loved their photographs. We look forward to seeing which they choose for their album.
