Amy & Gareth were married on 26th May 2013 at Headlam Hall Hotel. Headlam Hall is a beautiful venue just outside Darlington and is a favourite of ours because of the stunning grounds which are always beautifully kept!
Lots of planning had gone into Amy & Gareth’s wedding as Amy, understandably, wanted everything to be absolutely perfect on the day and it showed as everything was really well done and the whole day flowed beautifully.
Amy looked stunning in her dress and veil from Pronuptia Bridal in Sheffield and hair styled by Mango Love Hair of Durham. The bridesmaids wore dresses from Coast and all the outfits were complimented with bouquets of Calla Lilies by Anna Hunton at Headlam Hall. Everyone was very excited beforehand and when Amy’s Dad walked in to see his daughter there were many teary eyes!
The weather was fine and much warmer than when Amy & Gareth had their pre-wedding shoot in November the year before when they were huddling by the fire!
When it was time for the service we were so pleased to see the room looking so beautiful with decoration by Wildchild’s of Darlington. We have worked with Wildchild’s before and are always impressed with their work, highly recommended!
Gareth waited nervously at the front as Amy made her entrance on Dad’s arm to an acoustic guitar version of Adele’s ‘Make You Feel My Love’. The service that followed was lovely, with readings by Jemma Oliver and Lewis Butcher that left a tear in the eyes of the guests and afterwards, the happy couple then walked outside to their guests smiling faces!
We had a lovely time walking around the grounds and Amy & Gareth were both very good models and a very romantic couple. Back at the house the guests enjoyed a lovely drinks reception on the terrace.
After a wonderful meal in the beautifully decorated reception room, again by Wildchild’s, it was party time!
After Amy & Gareth’s first dance, everyone had a fantastic time dancing to the music of band Children Of The Revolution and we got some great photos of everyone after a glass of champagne or 5!!
Amy & Gareth emailed us after receiving their DVD slideshow and said “WOW… thanks so much for the photographs, they are fantastic and the DVD really tells the story of the day – thank you! I can’t wait to see what the finished book will look like!”
