Linda & David were married on Saturday 17th August 2013 at Walworth Castle. Walworth Castle is a great venue with bags of 12th century character just outside Darlington.
Beforehand it was clear that Linda was a little nervous but she soon came round when she got changed into her beautiful dress and headdress from Wedding Day Fashions of Darlington and shoes from Image of Bishop Auckland. Everyone had a tear in their eyes and agreed that Linda looked absolutely beautiful! Her bridesmaids wore dresses, again from Wedding Day Fashions, and Linda’s flower girls (one of which was her daughter) looked so sweet! Each outfit was finished with stunning flowers from The Floral Box of Darlington.
David and his groomsmen wore suits from Affleck & Moffat of Darlington and looked very smart, along with their son who, however, later prefered his Scooby Doo t’shirt! Very soon it was time for the service. Everyone gathered in the service room and the ceremony that followed was lovely.
Afterwards everyone gathered on the lawn for a big group shot and confetti and then we took Linda & David away from their guests for a little while to get some romantic shots of the two of them.
After a bit of a relaxing time chatting to guests, and enjoying the music of cellist Andy Wardall, everyone was getting peckish and it was time for the wedding breakfast. The room looked beautiful with table decorations and cake from Jenny Penny Cakes of Sunderland.
Later everyone danced the night away but it was difficult for anyone to get a dance with Linda as her and David’s son clinged to her whilst Daddy danced by himself! Aww bless!
