Jennifer & Jonathan were married on the 15th November 2013 at Redworth Hall Hotel. A surprisingly bright day for the time of year! It could almost be mistaken for Summer!
We met Jennifer and her bridesmaids up in the room beforehand to find Jennifer having the finishing touches done to her make-up by Jo Leversuch of Make-up by Jo. It’s always nice to see Jo, as we always know that her brides will look absolutely stunning! Around Jennifer, there was a bustle of activity as her three bridesmaids and two flower girls (including Jennifer and Jonathan’s daughter, who looked very cute!) got ready for the big day. Purple was the chosen colour of the day and all the outfits were complimented with flowers by Nattrass. Soon it was time for the big moment when Jennifer put her dress on and she looked gorgeous, wearing Maggie Sottero from Poppy Bridal of Darlington, together with a lovely, vintage-inspired hair slide.
Meanwhile, downstairs, Jonathan’s nerves were growing but he seemed to be keeping his cool and looked, very much, the part in his suit from Slater’s. After a few shots with Jonathan and his groomsmen, it was time for everyone to gather in the impresive Great Hall for the service. A candle lighting ceremony involving the Mums and a lovely reading from Anna Grayson made the service very individual.
After the service, Jennifer & Jonathan were thrilled to be able to go outside and have photographs taken around Redworth Hall’s beautiful grounds. The November weather really was kind to them!
The Great Hall looked lovely, as always, set up for the wedding breakfast. With flowers, again from Nattrass, stationary by The Wedding Invitation Company and a fab cake from Kelly Ann’s Cakes and a great time was had by all!
