Victoria & Chris were married on Saturday 3rd May 2014 at St.John the Baptist Church, Egglescliffe and had their reception at Judges Hotel, Yarm and wow, what a day it was! Sunshine, stunning blue skies and the prettiest blossom trees made Victoria & Chris’ big day amazing!

We arrived at Victoria’s parent’s house bathed in sunshine and were happy to find that everyone was calm and collected! Victoria and her bridesmaids were having the finishing touches done to their make-up by Elisa Alderson of Spoilt Beauty and all the girls had gorgeous hairstyles adorned with pearls, courtesy of Saks, Yarm.

After some girly, fun pics in their dressing gowns it was time for Victoria to change into her beautiful dress from Poppy Bridal, Darlington. She looked absolutely amazing, and Dad definitely had a tear in his eye when he saw his daughter, although he probably wouldn’t admit to it! The bridesmaids wore short, cream dresses from The House, Yarm that had a gorgeous vintage feel and all the girls had bouquets of pale pink and cream roses from The Flowerhouse, Hartburn.

Over at the church, Chris was chatting with guests at the pub nearby. There was already a wonderful atmosphere as everyone had a cheeky swift one in the sun before the service! Chris, like Victoria, seemed perfectly calm, although maybe not so under the surface and looked really smart in his suit from Greenwoods. Chris & his guests gathered in the church as the time drew near to Victoria’s big arrival, and what an arrival it was! Victoria and her Dad arrived in a horse drawn carriage, from the North-East Carriage Company, having felt like royalty as they travelled through Yarm High Street to cheers and waves from well-wishers!

The service was lovely, with a beautiful reading from Victoria’s cousin, Becca and everyone was entertained, whilst the register was signed, by Val Boyers with her acoustic guitar and amazing voice! Afterwards, Victoria & Chris walked out of church as newlyweds through a cloud of confetti and a sea of smiling faces.

After another magical horse and carriage ride, the happy couple arrived at Judges to find a surprise! Victoria’s sister had arranged for her horse to be brought to Judges, and he certainly looked the part with rosebud adorned hair, and a specially made coat to commemorate the happy occasion. Eventually, everyone arrived and the party could begin! The bridesmaids, bride’s parents, groom’s parents and groomsmen all arriving in style with Exclusive Wedding Cars.

Guests gathered in the courtyard enjoying a glass of pink champagne and Val Boyers stunning voice and we were absolutely thrilled to see the blossom trees! Wow! Victoria & Chris could not have planned it any better! The blossom was an exact match to the pale pink theme of the wedding and made for some stunning photographs, so much so we couldn’t wait to get them on our website!

There was more wow factor in the room, in the form of a huge light-up ‘LOVE’ sign from Limelight, stunning table decorations by Sheer Elegance and a fabulous cake by The Cake Works.

After speeches that raised a laugh and the odd tear, everyone enjoyed the delicious wedding breakfast before dancing the night away to band Funk Conspiracy and DJ Signature One.

Victoria, Chris and their mums came to see their photographs last week and were thrilled with them. The perfect way to relive a wonderful day!
