Rebecca & Martin were married on 12th September 2014 at Hall Garth Hotel and took advantage of their Ultimate package which includes us as your photographers. It’s such a great package, with quality and affordability all in one.
Rebecca & Martin were really keen to tie the knot outside in the Hall Garth’s secret garden and I was so pleased for them when I saw the fantastic weather forecast for that day! Rebecca says about the secret garden and Hall Garth Hotel – “We loved the secret garden where you could get married, so spent our engagement praying for sunshine so that we could use it. We’ve been to weddings at the Hall Garth before and loved the grounds and how convenient it was for our guests.” We have to agree Rebecca, it’s a lovely venue!
Rebecca’s dress really had the wow factor and she looked utterly stunning in it! She really knew what she wanted and, as soon as she tried her dress on at Dobinson’s of Darlington, she knew it was the one for her. With vintage style lace and a fishtail shape, it oozed timeless glamour! The bridesmaids wore long dresses in a soft grey and all the girls had bouquets in bright pops of pink, orange & green from Flowers by Nattrass. Nattrass are also part of Hall Garth’s ultimate package, a fantastic Darlington florist with generations of experience!
Martin, his best man and brother all wore grey checked suits with bright orange ties to complement the flowers and seemed quite calm as they greeted arriving guests, whilst enjoying a pint beforehand. The secret garden looked amazing, set up by The First Class Wedding Company (who are also a supplier for the Hall Garth’s ultimate package) with silvery grey chair covers and the Northern String Quartet played during the service. The whole atmosphere of the service was relaxed and joyful. Everyone felt at ease in the beautiful surroundings and thoroughly enjoyed the heartfelt readings from friends during the service.
Rebecca & Martin said this about Camera A –
“We would definitely recommend them – Sarah was really friendly and helpful on the day and although neither of us were initially keen on the idea of spending hours getting our pictures taken, it was so relaxed it flew by. Everyone at Camera A has been really helpful and we love the end result – it’s going to be hard to choose which ones we want.”
High praise indeed! For a couple that weren’t keen on the idea of having their photograph taken they were naturals in front of the camera and we got some great shots around the grounds and even got a ride in the golf buggies!
The room looked lovely dressed for the wedding breakfast, with chair covers, again from The First Class Wedding Company and floral decorations from Nattrass combined with personal touches from the happy couple and we hear that everyone had a fantastic night dancing away to Mr. Brightside by The Killers amongst others!
