Michelle & Stephen were married on 3rd October 2014 at Bannatynes Hotel, Darlington. A fantastic and stylish venue which is a stones throw from Darlington town centre, we are always so happy to photograph weddings there. It has such a relaxed and friendly feel.
The day began with Michelle’s preparations at home. There was such a great atmosphere, and Michelle looked beautiful with her hair styled by Vintage Tinsel and make-up by Jo Leversuch. Michelle bought her dress from Northallerton Bridal Factory Outlet and had it tailored to perfection by Bex’s Brides. It was such a beautiful dress with a pretty halter and fit Michelle perfectly.
Michelle & Stephen chose a purple & pink colour scheme for their wedding day so the bridesmaids wore purple dresses from Joanne Kay Bridal, Stokesley, with bright pops of shocking pink from their bouquets. Michelle opted for classic white and all the flowers were from Elm Ridge, Darlington.
Stephen, his best man & usher seemed cool, calm and collected and were very smart in their suits from The Suit Gallery, Thornaby and greeted guests as they arrived for the wedding service. Michelle arrived in style with Millennium Limousines and the service was lovely, with a reading from bridesmaid, Christina Lynas.
After confetti and congratulations, guests enjoyed a champagne reception outside as we whisked the happy couple off for a short while to get some romantic shots! In the reception room, XLB Events had provided the room decoration and a show-stopper cake by Burnett 4 Cakes had everyone’s mouths watering.
