Rachel & Kevin were married on the 25th October 2014 at The Morritt, Greta Bridge. We are really proud to be on The Morritt’s recommended suppliers list and it is always a pleasure to photograph weddings there. Rachel & Kevin’s was no exception!
The day started at The Garage Spa just next door to the Morritt. Rachel was having her make-up done ready for the big day and we were asked to photograph her beautiful transformation and make a book for the Garage Spa to show brides. Rachel, who is already naturally beautiful, looked absolutely stunning, with every feature enhanced perfectly!
Back up in the bridal suite, Rachel’s bridesmaids and Mum were ready and waiting to help her into her gorgeous dress from Dobinson’s of Darlington. It fit Rachel perfectly. Dobinson’s is a supplier that we would always recommend. The bridesmaids wore dresses in a rich, royal blue and all the girls had stunning bouquets in shades of pink, purple and blue from Muscari.
Kevin seemed calm and relaxed before the service and enjoyed a laugh with his best man and ushers. All the boys looked smart in their suits from Most Suitable of Newcastle and greeted the guests as they arrived.
The service took place in the lovely conservatory room which is so light and airy! A great place for photographs. And afterwards, everyone gathered on the grass outside for a group picture of everyone together and this was also a great time to throw confetti!
Rachel & Kevin enjoyed having some romantic shots taken around The Morritt’s beautiful grounds and we enjoyed it too as they were such naturals in front of the camera! After a few group photos we took a peek at the gorgeous reception room, all ready for the wedding breakfast. It looked fantastic! Decorated in a team effort between The Morritt, Muscari & the happy couple themselves and with a delicious cake by Edwina’s Cakes tempting everyone!
After a delicious wedding breakfast, hilarious speeches and much laughter, everyone enjoyed dancing to the music of The Fontains! A fantastic, Newcastle based band who cover everything from 60s classics right up to modern day favourites.
