“Our wedding photographs are amazing, watching the slideshow brought the memories flooding back (and the happy tears). Our day has been captured perfectly and we are so grateful for the attention to detail. Thank you so much for working with us to create a keepsake of our wedding day.” Quoted by the Bride.

Where do I start with Lauren & Stephens wedding? We met Stephen and Lauren at a local wedding fayre, where they introduced us to Woodhill Hall in Otterburn, the location of their wedding. Such a beautiful, quirky venue set in the amazing Northumbrian countryside.

Woodhill Hall offers exclusive hire and the opportunity to create your own personal items in every room. Lauren and Steven took advantage of this and created amazing features such as: Bringing their own personal family photographs and accessorised each room to create a more personal touch to the venue.

Lauren & Stephen got married on the 31st July 2017. Woodhill Hall (voted most Romantic Wedding Venue in the North-East), is completely breathtaking. Everywhere you look you notice something different such as a giant colourful dog and a wire elephant, want unique? This is the place for you.

Around the venue is so much breathtaking countryside, which made a fantastic backdrop to the photos.

The morning of the wedding Jane (one of the photographers) went to photograph Lauren getting ready in one of the stone barn conversions. It had unique fixtures with rounded windows, and plenty of room for her and the bridesmaids.

While Ann (One of the other photographers) went to take photos of Stephen and his Grooms, this room had a featured bath in the middle of it!

Lucky the ceremony was held outside due to such nice weather. As soon as Stephen & Lauren’s eyes met at the start of the ceremony you could tell it was true love. Stephen even had a few tears of happiness; we love a Groom who’s so overwhelmed by seeing their wife to be. We might have looked like we had a tear but I had something in my eye, I promise! Their lovely little sons both presented their wedding rings, which created a warming feeling in everyone hearts.

The surrounding country side made such a lovely background to take the photography’s, not just of the Bride and Groom but of the wedding party as well. As they had a two-photographer wedding, this meant they one photographer got casual images of the guests chatting, having canapés, and having ice-cream from Ice cycles.  In the courtyard next to this quirky bar which was made from old suitcases and trunks.

Lauren and Stephen had their photographs taken around the grounds.  This included some images infront of the love shack, in the woods, on top of a colourful dog and outside the tepee.

The tepee was where they had their evening reception. We could tell how much work had gone into planning this wedding and it came together beautifully. From the Donut wall, flowers and table decor it was a perfect day that I’m sure the guests and Bride & Groom will never forget all the details.
