We may be a little biased as Jane’s the boss here at Camera A, but what a perfect day Jane and Ben’s wedding was. Jane and Ben were married at the beautiful Seaham Hall on the 31st August 2017. Wow, what can we say about Seaham Hall, it was breathtaking, as it is one of the most luxurious spa hotels in the North East of England. It has 37 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens which made the perfect backdrop to their images. This Georgian country house definitely helped the day to be luxurious and gave everyone an unforgettable experience
Jane and the bridesmaids flowers were beautiful thanks to Forget Me Not florists, and looked great with the Bride’s and Bridesmaids dresses. Jane looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress from Poppy’s bridal shop , with a lace bodice, classy pattern on the back and a modern twist of a champagne undertone under the dress. With Jane’s makeup by Alison Petitjean, hair and dress all coming together she looked so elegant and beautiful. The hairdressers even came over from Marbella Wood Hairdressing. Penny (Jane and Ben’s daughter) had her own adorable little dress from Pretty gorgeous and was ready to pose with lots of smiles with her Mum! We couldn’t get over how cute little penny looked with little curls in her hair and her pretty little ivory dress.
The Groom and all of his 7 best men, 3 ushers and master of ceremony, all looked very smart with their black suits and black bow tie combination! Thanks to Bakers Tailors .
When Ben was waiting at the ceremony he looked very excited but also nervous to see his wife to be. Penny came down the aisle to meet her Dad before Jane came down. We couldn’t get over how adorable Penny looked and how brave she was to walk down the aisle in front of the bridesmaids, she wasn’t even 2 at the time. She met her Dad to give him a big cuddle. Everyone’s eyes lit up when they saw Jane walking down the steps, she looked like a princess!
We were so lucky when it came to the weather. In the morning the sky was grey and looked like it was about to rain any second. However, by the time we all got out of the ceremony the sun was shining! This meant we could get some stunning photos down at the beach, it turned out to be a perfect backdrop for pictures of the bride and groom. The grounds at Seaham hall were beautiful and any where we turned was another photo opportunity. We were also very impressed by the whirlpool fountain at the front and it was such an interesting place to pose the bride and groom. While we were taking photographs of Jane and Ben all the guests relaxed in the sun eating ice cream!
The speeches were held before the meal, the best men had a creative way of doing their speech. They had put numbers in a hat and got wedding guest to pick them out, each number had a different story about Ben, maybe some he didn’t want everyone to hear!
Jane and Ben had the singing waiters after they had eaten. This was kept a secret from all of the guests which meant when two waiters appeared to be “arguing” and dropping a large tray of cutlery it meant a couple of Ben’s friends went to confront the waiters . They shortly stopped when they burst out singing! The singing waiters were amazing and got all the guests up singing and dancing, it was even entertaining taking the images!
The band, Agent Smith , arrived shortly after the meals for the night time. Jane and Ben cut their beautiful cake and then had their first dance. Everyone got up to dance the night away.
Overall we can say what a lovely day, we and all the wedding party will remember forever! A big Congratulations goes out to our boss Jane and her husband Ben!
